Psychotherapy

The psychotherapy service is aimed primarily at helping you to reduce barriers to your success.  For example, many people criticize themselves beyond the point where self-examination goes from being beneficial for staying on track to being overly discouraging.  Likewise, they may have overly exacting expectations of others.  They may also make assumptions about how people view them or what their motivations are that are overly pessimistic.  Creating more constructive approaches in these areas can help in bringing renewed optimism, energy, and determination to reaching your most vital goals.

My work draws on a wide range of sources and insights integrated over many years.  These include the work of David D. Burns, M.D., Carl Jung, and others.

Note:  Psychotherapy is practiced under my California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist license (LMFT 14572).  Coaching, like consulting, is not a service that has an associated license, and is not provided under my LMFT license.
